Chris Pratt Gives Hilarious Takedown Of Snobby Actors
If you’ve been part of the workforce for longer than a New York minute, you’re likely painfully aware of how frustrating it can be to have a toxic coworker. These employees can make hours feel like days and turn a standard 8-hour shift into the stuff of nightmares. Unfortunately, Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt claims that things are no different on the set of multi-million dollar movies, as he humorously lambasts performers with “s****y attitudes” in a recent appearance.
Chris Pratt Comes For Modern Actors
Chris Pratt made these comments during a New York Comic Con panel promoting his latest project The Electric State, which he stars in alongside Millie Bobby Brown, Stanley Tucci, Ke Huy Quan, and Breaking Bad‘s Giancarlo Esposito. When asked about the entitlement of modern actors, Pratt humorously posed the rhetorical question “Oh, are you having a hard time living your dream? Is that tough for you today?” while arguing that there’s no reason for A-list actors to have a nasty attitude.
Calls Out Stars Who Act Like They Are Better Than Others
Obviously, anyone can have a rough day, no matter their net worth, though Chris Pratt argues that people who are raking in millions working in the creative arts should be counting their blessings, as opposed to Americans nearing the poverty line while struggling with their bills.
Like any other industry, there are many pitfalls in a Hollywood production that can make life difficult, but this does not give actors an excuse for treating working people or behind-the-scenes staff as lesser than. Luckily, Pratt claims that actors who behave this way tend not to last long in the movie making business, as personal connections are quite important to landing new roles.
Chris Pratt Knows Range
If anyone knows about networking, it’s certainly Chris Pratt, as the A-lister has starred in everything from Marvel films, to animated outings like The Super Mario Bros Movie and The Garfield Movie, to indie classics such as Her.
He’s also led massive franchises like The Lego Movie, the Jurassic World trilogy, and high-octane action outings like The Terminal List and The Tomorrow War. As for what snobby actors Pratt was skewering specifically, your guess is as good as ours, since he’s worked with just about every major movie star of the 21st century.
The Electric State
One thing’s for sure though: Chris Pratt is definitely not describing any of his Electric State co-stars, as the actor seemingly had nothing but praise for the movie’s staff both on and off the camera. Specifically, Pratt praised Millie Bobby Brown for her big heart, while talking about her propensity for rehoming animals.
Pratt offered a few exaggerated examples of these acts of kindness, expressing “she’s finding a home for, like, some pygmy goat to be adopted and organizing a U-Haul full of pit bull puppies to be taken to Indiana.”
Reuniting With The Russo Brothers
Chris Pratt also had pleasant things to say about the filmmaking duo behind The Electric State, Joe and Anthony Russo. Marvel fans may recognize these names as the filmmakers responsible for such all-time great entires into the MCU as Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Captain America: Civil War.
Our trusted and proven sources at GFR have even reported that the brothers are on pace to return to Marvel to helm the forthcoming Avengers: Secret Wars. Clearly, Pratt has developed enough good faith in the Hollywood industry to work exclusively with his favorite people, meaning his days of tolerating actors with “s****y attitudes” may be a thing of the past.
