In a bizarre turn of events, Milner died from electrocution after jumping into the lake for a swim from his family’s dock. However, as he tried to rescue Milner, he felt a burning sensation and realized the water was electrified.
Reacting swiftly, he swam back to the dock to turn off a power box that appeared to be the source of electricity in the water. After shutting off the power, he managed to drag Milner back to shore. Despite their best efforts, Milner succumbed to the electrocution and was rushed to a local hospital, where he passed away the following day.
Following the tragic electrocution incident involving Thomas Shepard Milner, investigators are diligently working to determine how the water became electrified. Milner’s mother, Martha, told authorities that the family dock was less than three years old and had been inspected by a licensed electrician.
