Blizzard is officially making a Warcraft mobile game, and the first two trailers for the new game have dropped. The game is called Warcraft Arclight Rumble, and it looks to be in the style of the old real-time strategy that the game initially made its name with. While the trailer only shows the cinematic version of what players can expect, it looks to be a ton of fun. The trailer shows a player placing down miniature of a knight and orc, as they come to life on a board that looks to be in the style of a pinball game. The minis run around and obliterate one another in hilarious fashion. You can see the cinematic trailer below:

Warcraft Arclight Rumble will be a free-to-play game that will feature a surprising amount of content. On top of players collecting minis, as stated by the Google Play Store, there is said to be a huge single-player campaign. Something like 70 playable missions will be there for players to enjoy the game on their own. On top of that, there are going to be head-to-head PVP battles. There are going to be several modes to choose from as well, which include conquest, dungeons, raids, and co-op. It sounds as if Blizzard is going to give fans plenty to work with when this mobile game drops later this year.

The game will consist of over 65 different miniatures that span all the different races in Warcraft. Alliance, Horde, Beast, Undead, and Blackrock will make up all the races that can be chosen from. Fan-favorite heroes like Jaina Proudmoore and Grommash Hellscream will also be able to be attained and used in-game. Each hero will have specific skills and special abilities, much like they always had in Warcraft. There will be weekly and monthly challenges that players can run through to ensure they level their champions. Blizzard also dropped a gameplay video for Warcraft Arclight Rumble below:

From both trailers, Warcraft Arclight Rumble looks to be like a highly silly and animated game that is packed with the best elements of Warcraft. From base rushing to leveling up heroes, these are all the most favorite elements from the RTS that are jam-packed into an extensive mobile game. Fans can pre-register for the mobile game right now, but the idea is that Blizzard will not be releasing the game until later in the year. That is certainly understood as most mobile games don’t contain this level of content. The only other Blizzard mobile game is Hearthstone, which is a card game in the style of Magic the Gathering. This will be the first mobile game based on the first three Warcraft titles.

Warcraft Arclight Rumble will likely drop in Q4 of this year, meaning we may see it anywhere between August and December. The game can be played on iOS and Android devices which include mobile phones and tablets of any kind. Be prepared to enter some absolutely RTS mayhem, will a massive collection of over 60 heroes. This game should reignite the fandom that made the original strategy Warcraft games so special.
