Kerry Condon has voiced Tony Stark’s AI F.R.I.D.A.Y. ever since J.A.R.V.I.S. became Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Now Condon is ready to have her own live-action Marvel debut. In an interview with Variety, Condon gave her thoughts about playing a superhero in an MCU movie saying “Yeah, of course.”

Condon added “I think people can sort of limit themselves,” talking about how she isn’t snobby about the roles she takes, so she would definitely be open to a live-action Marvel role. Of course, Condon is known for much more than her work as F.R.I.D.A.Y., as she has also had significant roles in Better Call Saul, Rome, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, and more. An actor with Condon’s skills could certainly take on a bigger role in the MCU.

The question is, how would Condon show up in a Marvel movie? It could be a simple case as just casting her in whatever role fits best, since people won’t necessarily make the connection that she also voices F.R.I.D.A.Y. With Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark no longer a part of the MCU, it’s been a while since we’ve heard F.R.I.D.A.Y. anyway.

Of course, Condon could also continue to be utilized as F.R.I.D.A.Y. in Marvel’s upcoming Ironheart series and Armor Wars film. Armor Wars seems like the most natural place for F.R.I.D.A.Y. to show up since it will follow Don Cheadle as Rhodey/War Machine as he deals with people stealing Stark technology. It wouldn’t be surprising if Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) also showed up in Armor Wars donning the armor she wore in Avengers: Endgame, but now equipped with F.R.I.D.A.Y.’s AI programming.

We’ll also be meeting Dominique’s Thorne’s Riri Williams aka Ironheart in Marvel’s upcoming film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Since Williams will be building her own suit, it doesn’t seem likely that F.R.I.D.A.Y. will pop up in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. However, it’s definitely possible that Riri Williams will look into some Stark technology herself in her solo Ironheart series and come across F.R.I.D.A.Y.

There’s also the possibility that Kerry Condon’s F.R.I.D.A.Y. could pull the same trick as J.A.R.V.I.S. While Paul Bettany played Tony’s in-suit AI for many Marvel films, he eventually became Vision and portrayed him physically. Kerry Condon’s F.R.I.D.A.Y. could go a similar route, especially now that Vision appears to be out of the picture.

In short, there are a lot of ways that Kerry Condon could make the pivot to live-action. With Marvel introducing the multiverse, the X-Men, and a ton of other elements, there’s bound to be a hero (or even villain) that Condon could play in the future. In the meantime, you can see Condon in her most recent role in The Banshees of Inisherin, which releases this weekend on October 21.

To get your most recent fix of Marvel projects, you can now stream the entire first season of She-Hulk on Disney+, along with the Marvel Halloween special Werewolf by Night. The next MCU film will be hitting theaters on November 11 with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Marvel will wrap up the year with The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.
