After that, the 61-year-old actor returned to another tried and true franchise and has been hard at work making the next set of Mission Impossible movies, Dead Reckoning Parts One and Two.
The pair are getting ready to tackle a hard-edged movie where Cruise will be playing a “very un-Tom character,” according to McQuarrie.
