Tim Allen was the voice of Buzz Lightyear since the original movie in 1995. He played the beloved character in all four installments, stretching from 1995 to 2019. His tweet also suggests that Tom Hanks will return as Woody for the new animated film.
This comes as a surprise to some loyal fans who believed Tim Allen had been dropped by Disney for his outspoken conservative views. While this was not the case, the actor has been known for stirring up controversy over the years. Most recently, the star has been accused of flashing from Pamela Anderson.
The actress alleges that Tim Allen walked up to her on the set of Home Improvement on her first day. He was wearing a robe that he opened, showing the star he was naked underneath. Tim Allen said that he had seen her naked a number of times in Playboy and that it was only fair she see him naked too.
These implications were recently shared by Pamela Anderson in her new memoir, Love, Pamela. However, despite these recent allegations coming to light, the star will still be the voice of Toy Story 5’s Buzz Lightyear.
