The Bear Season 2 Finally Has A Release Date
10 new episodes of The Bear will be available on Hulu on Thursday, June 22.
If you have been anxiously waiting for one of the best series to return, then you only need to wait a few more weeks for The Bear season 2 to arrive. The 10 new episodes of the dark comedy will be available on Hulu on Thursday, June 22, according to Deadline. Audiences can expect the same level of humor, drama, and heartache that the TV series has shown us thus far.
In the first season of The Bear, Jeremy Allen White’s character Carmen ‘Carmy’ Berzatto is a fine dining chef who returns to his home in Chicago after the tragic loss of his brother. To support his loved ones, he takes over his family’s sandwich shop (The Original Beef of Chicagoland), which proves to be a challenging new endeavor compared to his experience in the fine dining industry.
The Shameless star musters all of his strength and goodwill to save the rundown shop and its unruly staff, all while grappling with his brother’s sudden death and his own life’s purpose.
The Bear season 2 will pick up where the first season left off, as Jeremy Allen White transforms his family’s shop, “The Beef,” into the new, re-branded “The Bear.” He will be joined by some of his fellow co-stars from season 1, including Ayo Edebiri as Sydney Adamu and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richard “Richie” Jerimovich. The team will work together to revamp the sandwich shop while they also follow their own personal journeys that go far beyond the restaurant’s grimy walls.
The first season had many great guest appearances from stars like Jon Bernthal, Joel McHale, and Molly Ringwald, in addition, to their regular cast members. We’re hoping to see some of the recurring characters like Jimmy Cicero (Oliver Platt), Ebraheim (Edwin Lee Gibson), and Neil Fak (Matty Matheson) reprise their roles in the new season.
In addition, we know that Bob Odenkirk will make an appearance in The Bear season 2, though we’re not sure what kind of role he is going to play or how many episodes he will be featured in.
Audiences can’t get enough of the dramatic show that has won multiple awards, including Top 10 Programs of the Year from the American Film Institute, Best New Scripted Series from Independent Spirit, and Best Comedy Series from the Writers Guild of American.
Fans also love the performance from Jeremy Allen White, who won Critics’ Choice for Best Actor in a Comedy Series and a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy.
The FX production was created by Christopher Storer, who is known for his work on the TV series Ramy and the comedy-drama Eighth Grade. Christopher Storer, who grew up near Chicago, based The Original Beef of Chicagoland in The Bear on the actual Chicago sandwich shop, Mr. Beef.
The founder of the sandwich shop, Joseph Zucchero, recently passed away unexpectedly at 69 years old, and we hope that The Bear season 2 will honor him and his impact on the Windy City in some way.
