That 70s Show Star Cast In Marvel Series
Debra Jo Rupp has been added to the cast of Marvel's Agatha: Coven of Chaos show.
Everyone’s favorite mom from That ’70s Show is officially joining the cast of Agatha: Coven of Chaos. Debra Jo Rupp, who plays Kitty Forman in the previously mentioned sitcom, is going to be returning to the Marvel world that was created by WandaVision. Rupp had initially appeared as Mrs. Hart in five episodes of WandaVision, and it would make sense for her to be returning for that role, though Marvel has declined comment on that.
It is quite strange that Debra Jo Rupp is going to be reprising her role in the new Marvel Agatha series, which leads us to believe that she may have been a force that was not yet discovered during the events of WandaVision. She could be another of the witches that were there to control Wanda, right alongside Agatha. This is just speculation at this point, but her reprisal means that Mrs. Hart is a character that matters a great deal more to the overall plot of WandaVision and now Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
Debra Jo Rupp joining the Marvel Agatha series places her alongside the already established cast of Kathryn Hahn, Joe Locke, Aubrey Plaza, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata, and Patti LuPone. Rupp is one of a few original cast members from WandaVision joining the new Agatha series, as Emma Caulfield is also reprising her role as Dottie. We had an inkling that Dottie was also involved in the magic being used in Westview, and that could now be established in the new series.
Debra Jo Rupp is now going to be part of two sequel series, as she is returning as Kitty Forman in the That ’90s Show sequel spinoff for Netflix, and now as Mrs. Hart in the Agatha: Coven of Chaos Marvel sequel spinoff series. Clearly, everyone is a fan of Rupp for obvious reasons, and we are more than happy that she is going to be involved in more shows. We truly hope that she ends up being some sort of magic user as well.
With Debra Jo Rupp and Emma Caulfield returning to Marvel for the Agatha series, we wonder if that means we are going to be seeing Elizabeth Olsen reprise her role as Wanda Maximoff when the Agatha series debuts. Though she was seemingly “destroyed” during the events of Doctor Strange 2, we know that both Kevin Feige and Elizabeth Olsen have alluded to Scarlet Witch not being truly gone. The cosmos is certainly going to need a magic user, and the Scarlet Witch could redeem herself to join up with Doctor Strange again when battling Kang.
Debra Jo Rupp will certainly make a great witch for Marvel if her reprisal has anything to do with that. She always appears as the nice and caring type of character in every show she is cast in, but we would like to see her be a bit eviler this time around. Either way, we are excited that she is going to be in Agatha: Coven of Chaos, and we can’t wait to see what her role is going to be.
