In a hilarious new TikTok video, Star Trek’s USS Enterprise is taken over by television’s greatest mob boss: Tony Soprano from the Sopranos. It’s the crossover we never knew we needed. See the video below.

As the transfer is complete, Tony’s first words as the new captain are to tell the crew to “Get the f*ck out of here.”

The video begins with a voiceover from the ship’s computer informing the USS Enterprise crew that Tony Soprano is the new captain. Meanwhile, Patrick Stewart, who played Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek, stands patiently next to another Enterprise crew member whose face has been replaced with that of James Gandolfini, the actor who played Tony in the Sopranos. As the transfer is complete, Tony’s first words as the new captain are to tell the crew to “Get the f*ck out of here.”

“The crossover we never knew we wanted,” one commenter said, posting a laughing emoji at the thought of a Star Trek-Sopranos series.

The 48-second video continues showing what life in the Star Trek universe would be like with one of the Sopranos in charge. As the Enterprise flies through space, a voiceover from Tony explains how he’s trying to change his business profile.

Then, there’s an intense scene as Tony berates the Enterprise crew, demanding to know why the team of top-tier earners aren’t bringing in the money. Finally, the video ends with another voiceover as Tony wonders why nothing has been done about impulse control.

“The crossover we never knew we wanted,” one commenter said, posting a laughing emoji at the thought of a Star Trek-Sopranos series.

Mixing Star Trek with a show like The Sopranos is so juxtaposed it’s slapstick funny.

“Hell, I’m in for a whole season,” another TikTok user posted. To which another commenter replied, “Season, naw a whole spinoff.” Clearly, the blend of Star Trek and Sopranos is something the world desires.

And maybe it’s something we’ll get, even if it’s not officially. One TikTok user posted, “Ooo my god. More Star Trek Sopranos episodes. You’re onto something.” The comment received 222 likes at the time of writing this, and there are many more comments on the post from users with similar requests, which could encourage the original poster to make more episodes in this strange mix-up of a universe.

The Star Trek-Sopranos crossover comes from TikTok user @emlowz, an account that is almost exclusively made up from Star Trek edits. Most of the user’s edits create humorous crossovers—there’s another post edited so it looks as though the crew wishes to be WWE stars—or place the crew of the USS Enterprise in hilarious scenarios.

Like the WWE edit, mixing Star Trek with a show like The Sopranos is so juxtaposed it’s slapstick funny. Star Trek, a science fiction series created by Gene Roddenberry in 1966, details a utopian future where humanity has transcended its conflicts and united to explore the cosmos.

Meanwhile, The Sopranos, created by David Chase in 1999, is set in New Jersey’s criminal underworld and is centered around the mob boss Tony Soprano as he navigates the complexities of her professional and personal life.

Despite their stark differences, both Star Trek and The Sopranos greatly impacted television history. Star Trek revolutionized science-fiction television and has expanded to include multiple television series, films, novels, comics, and more, captivating generations of fans worldwide and solidifying its place as one of the most influential and beloved sci-fi sagas in history. And The Sopranos paved the way for a new era of serialized storytelling and anti-hero protagonists.
