Jameela Jamil, of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, has expressed an avid interest in continuing to play the character Titania in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In an interview with Screen Rant, she expressed how much she enjoys playing the villainous arch-rival of She-Hulk. However, she also admitted that the decision isn’t up to her.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law isn’t like typical superhero shows or moves in that the action is often resolved not through brute force but inside the courtroom. In the show, attorney Jennifer Walters finds herself in possession of the same powers as her cousin, Bruce Banner, and must learn to integrate them into her daily life. Working against She-Hulk is Titania, the alter ego of Mary MacPherran, a young woman with a history of being bullied who now seeks revenge.

Throughout the show, She-Hulk and Titania battle with words and intelligence rather than brute force, and as a snappy and stylish villain, Titania is given ample opportunity to show off her sass. The miniseries’ courtroom dramedy setting is ripe with moments where Titania can shine. Jameela Jamil told Screen Rant, “I love playing that character.”

Given the story behind She-Hulk’s archvillain and its connection to the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we may see more of Titania. She is connected to Doctor Doom, a Marvel villain best known as the rival of the Fantastic Four. The character’s background and rivalry so closely connected to one of the Avengers hint at her inclusion in future movies.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was intended to be a miniseries and Disney has not renewed the show for a second season. However, the series ended with the possibility of there being more, if Marvel Studios chooses to continue the story. However, even without a second season of She-Hulk, both characters are now part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which means they could show up in future movies, even if it means just playing cameo roles.

However, it is ultimately up to Kevin Fiege what he wants to do with the character and other characters from the series. The fate of She-Hulk and Titania rests on whether the head of the studio wants to continue their story, include them in future movies, or simply leave the show as a one-shot spin-off of the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Jamila Jameel had some thoughts about this as well.

“I would love to, but I have no idea,” she told Screen Rant. “I think we have to kind of wait to see. Kevin [Feige]’s got the next few phases mapped out. And so it depends on where we can fit me in and what works for schedules and stuff. But I would happily play Titania until I’m so old that I look like a ball sack. I love playing that character.”

With such a sassy character in a major franchise that propelled the British actress to worldwide notice, it is easy to see why Jameela Jamil would want to continue to play her. She-Hulk‘s Titania is the kind of role that looks fun to play, making the actress’s job enjoyable and thus giving her the zest to play it to perfection. Audiences will have to wait and see if it is enough to bring Titania to the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Meanwhile, fans can check out She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and catch Titania in action on Disney+.
