She-Hulk Release Date Accidentally Revealed
Disney is usually quite good at not revealing secrets in terms of their Marvel properties, but the release date for She-Hulk has accidentally leaked online.
This article is more than 2 years old
Disney is usually great at keeping their spoilers at bay. That is the case until an actor lets things fly on accident, revealing crucial elements about plot points or release dates. However, sometimes the entertainment giant can have slip-ups of their own. It had not been officially revealed yet when the long-awaited She-Hulk series would finally make its way to the streaming platform. The usual case is to release a teaser trailer or showcase of some sort that offers up a release date. However, a mishap on the Disney front came in form of the Disney+ UK site that posted the information early. The release date of August 17th for She-Hulk was provided but has since been pulled.
This could mean two things. One, that release date was misinformation and has since been pulled to avoid confusion. Or two, it was the right date and had been prematurely posted when Disney+ is meant to reveal the date later. Hopefully, the information that has been provided is correct, as we can all experience what this new She-Hulk series has to offer soon. There are far too many rumors and confirmed returning cast that makes us all want to see this new show immediately. Tatiana Maslany appears as Jennifer Walter aka She-Hulk, Mark Ruffalo returns as Bruce Banner aka The Hulk, and Tim Roth will be returning as Emil Blonsky aka the Abomination. This new series promises a heap of CGI-intensive action.
What is even more interesting about this new She-Hulk series is that is said to be a “legal half-hour comedy.” This means that Jennifer Walters will appear as her normal paralegal self before likely coming into contact with gamma radiated blood that turns her into, She-Hulk. She-Hulk’s origin falls squarely on The Hulk being present, so it sounds as if Marvel is going the traditional route for Walters turning into her green self. Ruffalo is meant to return as Banner, to help guide Walters in her transition from a normal paralegal into a being that can level a city. The new Disney+ series is meant to be the more irreverent and focus mostly on the comedy aspect of things.
It’s fantastic that Marvel is taking things in a different direction for this new She-Hulk series. Most of the shows that have tied into major film plot points have all been a bit…depressing. Now fans will get to see Marvel go full comedy with this new show. Also, a point to talk about is that Bruce Banner and The Hulk are now one being, as was indicated by the end of Avengers: Endgame. We are likely not to see Ruffalo appears as his normal Bruce Banner self. Then again, he could have found a way to go back to his human form since those events took place.
According to the leak that has now been taken down, She-Hulk will likely be premiering on Disney+ on August 17th, 2022. However, be on the lookout for that date to change if had been the wrong information. With how quickly the information had been taken down from the UK site, it could mean that is when we are going to see the new series. All this information is likely to appear soon in the form of a trailer.
