See Sofia Vergara Stare Into The Camera In A Smoldering Way
Sofia Vergara is showing off her timeless looks, and her jewelry line, in a new Instagram post.
Sofia Vergara is posting pictures on Instagram again, so your day is about to get a lot better. The Modern Family actress posted a selfie standing by a pool, looking longingly into the camera and – wait for it – showing off pieces from her Walmart jewelry line. “Wearing my Walmart Jewelry again,” she posted with “heart” emojis, making her literally the only person on the planet who could make repping Walmart look sexy.
The post certainly caught the attention of many of her more than 27 million Instagram followers, as the post has racked up over 150,000 likes so far. Even the official Walmart Instagram account reacted, commenting “OBSESSED with the Sofia Vergara Collection” on her post.
Vergara’s role as Gloria Pritchett-Delgado on Modern Family certainly earned her a huge fan base, as well as four Emmy nominations, four Golden Globe nominations, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards. The Columbian native – who just turned 50 this summer, believe it or not – has had a successful career post-Modern Family, with a lifestyle brand that includes a clothing line for Walmart, a shoe line for Payless, a fragrance line, and a furniture line for Rooms to Go. She is also a spokesperson for Head and Shoulders shampoo, with her family members appearing with her in TV commercials.
Sofia Vergara currently serves as a judge on NBC’s reality competition series America’s Got Talent, which just completed its 16th season. She has not yet announced if she will join co-hosts Simon Cowell, model Heidi Klum and comedian Howie Mandel again next season.
Sophia Vergara is currently at work on her next big TV role, which is about as far as you can get from her Modern Family role. She will have the lead role in the new Netflix series Griselda, from the creative team behind Narcos. She’ll play Griselda Blanco, the real-life drug lord for the Medellin Cartel who trafficked cocaine from the 1980s into the 2000s. The series premieres sometime next year, although a date has not been set.
Vergara is also active in charity work. She recently starred in a campaign for St. Jude Children’s Hospital, modeling a “This Shirt Saves Lives” t-shirt whose sales raise money for cancer research. Sofía Vergara was born in Barranquilla, Colombia and started her career as a runway model, after being discovered by a fashion photographer while at the beach. After starring in a number of Spanish-language television series, she made her American debut in the 2002 film Big Trouble. She hit superstardom when she was cast in Modern Family in 2009 as Ed O’Neill’s wife.
