Fans who happened to watch the most recent She-Hulk trailer were treated to a huge cameo in the form of Charlie Cox flipping into the shot of a scene in the show, complete with his Daredevil costume. However, the new costume seemed to have some yellow and red combination, harkening back to one of the first costumes that Matt Murdock wore in the comics. Well, now the world has been treated to yet another look at the new costume, but this time with a much clearer image. You can see this image below:
Although the lighting seems to be a bit off, there are hints of yellow in the costume. Charlie Cox is looking away, though his Daredevil helmet seems to look a bit more futuristic. Still, it is good to see the man back in costume, as he is going to seemingly be a big part of, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. There had been reports that he is going to fight She-Hulk at some point, though we are not sure why. Hulk and Daredevil have fought one another plenty in the comics, but they have never met in the MCU. Now, it seems that Daredevil will meet Hulk and She-Hulk at the same time. Well, that is speculation, but with the Bruce Banner Hulk playing an integral part, it might be true.
Marvel already announced that Charlie Cox would be returning in Daredevil: Born Again. This new 18-episode series is going to premiere on Disney+ in the spring of 2024. It has also been announced that Jon Bernthal would be returning as Punisher in the new Daredevil series as well. This means that box Cox and Bernthal will be the characters for the foreseeable future in the MCU. They are likely to be joined by Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin, played by none other than Vincent D’Onofrio. He did appear in the Hawkeye series, and we can bet that he is going to show up in the Echo series too. Echo will be premiering in the summer of 2023.
We are still quite curious about why Daredevil (Charlie Cox) is going to be taking on She-Hulk, but it could be a misunderstanding in the beginning. Jennifer Walters is a lawyer, after all, the same as Matt Murdock. They might both end up working in the superhero division of law that is being introduced in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Then again, She-Hulk could pose a threat when she is first introduced, leaving Daredevil to step in and attempt to stop her. We can’t wait to see those two fight one another.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ on August 18, 2022. We are less than two weeks from seeing how Jennifer Walters is first infected by the same blood that turned Bruce Banner into the Hulk. Also, we will find out why she ends up taking on Daredevil (Charlie Cox) in the series. Cox reprised his role as Matt Murdock back in Spider-Man: No Way Home. It’s fantastic that we don’t have to wait to see him appear again in his new series in 2024.
