Make Your Walking Dead Collection Adorable With Vinyl Figurines
To be honest I’m not much of a toy collector. Too much clutter. There were a ton of G.I. Joe and Star Wars figures in my past, but the only things I’ve ever managed to hang onto are a Red Dwarf Skutter toy, a trashed Boba Fett, and a capeless Darth Vader (if you’ve ever seen Darth Vader without a cape, then you know it just doesn’t look right).
That said, these new vinyl Walking Dead figurines from Pop! are pretty damn great. The big head, small body combination is adorable, and now you can collect some of your favorite characters and even a few iconic zombies from AMC’s series.
You can get your mitts on Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), complete with his customary Sheriff’s hat and uniform, and big ol’ revolver.
This one of Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) is absolutely perfect. From the sleepy, heavy-lidded eyes, the crossbow, and the dirt-stache, the designers hit the nail square on the head with this one.
Even those undead bastards, the walkers, are kind of cute when made up this way. Just don’t let them get too close. First up is Bicycle Girl, the legless torso who drags herself across the ground outside the hospital in season one.
Even with a screwdriver stuck in his eye, this little guy, dubbed RV Walker, is still pretty huggable. You may remember this him from season two, when he finds his way into Dale’s RV, traps Andrea (Laurie Holden) in the bathroom, and she has to jab that screwdriver into his eye socket.
These figures retail for $9.99, which isn’t bad. They’re available for pre-order now, and will ship in November.
