Netflix’s Bridgerton hasn’t been out for a month yet, but it’s young stars are already some of the most searched for actors in the world. At the center of the Regency era show is actress Phoebe Dynevor. She and her co-star (Regé-Jean Page) are quickly becoming famous for their sex scenes in the steamy series. Curiosity about the stars has viewers running to their IMDB pages, which has shot the actors to the top of the IMDB Star Meter. Those unfamiliar with both Phoebe Dynevor and Bridgerton have a lot of questions about what this is all about, so let’s get into it.
Phoebe Dynevor is playing the oldest daughter of the Bridgerton family in the Regency era in England. While Bridgerton wasn’t one of the most popular shows for Netflix in 2020, that may only be because the series was released on Christmas Day. The streaming network is cagey about releasing statistics but does sometimes tell us their numbers for the first 28 days of a new release. Currently, they are projecting Bridgerton will stream in 63 million households in its first 28 days. This may put the series as one of the top-performing series ever for Netflix. We don’t yet know whether the series will get a second season. If it does, the love story for Phoebe Dynevor’s character is unlikely to take center stage. The eight episodes told the complete story. This could mean fewer steamy scenes between the pair in season two, but if you’ve seen a Shondaland production before, there’s some faith to be held that the writers will find a way.
