Adrian Chase, better known as Vigilante, is set to make a comeback in the DC Universe in Peacemaker Season 2. But there’s even greater news for Vigilante fans than this dark hero’s comeback. According to CBR.com, James Gunn has confirmed that Vigilante will be back on our screens before the John Cena-led anti-hero series releases its next season, likely making an appearance on Waller.

James Gunn, DC Studios Co-CEO and creator of Peacemaker, confirmed Vigilante’s return during a recent interaction on Meta’s new social media platform, Threads. He stated that the character would return before the next season is released, implying that Vigilante is expected to appear on a different show, most likely Waller, a spin-off of Peacemaker, which focuses on Amanda Waller and her team-up with Project Butterfly.
While details about Peacemaker Season 2 are still under wraps, the news of Vigilante’s reappearance has sparked excitement among fans.
Portrayed by Freddie Stroma, Vigilante quickly became a fan-favorite due to his eccentric friendship with Peacemaker and his highly efficient combat skills showcased in the first season of the Max series. When Does Peacemaker Season 2 Come Out?

Superman: Legacy is slated for a release in 2025, which means it could be as late as 2026 or 2027 before we see the next chapter of Peacemaker’s story.
