Hello there. Fans of Star Wars, Ewan McGregor, and Obi-Wan Kenobi rejoice, have finally been treated to the first-look images from the highly anticipated Disney+ series. Through all the rumors, speculation, and delays we are finally able to see the hard work that has gone into this show and giving the fans the prequel, they truly deserve. While the show does not air until May, Entertainment Weekly posted a ton of official photos for fans to drool over while they wait in anticipation. You can see the photos below:

We are not entirely sure what is going on in the above pic, but it appears as if Ewan McGregor might just be as surprised as us that these photos have been released. While Obi-Wan isn’t necessarily about stealth, he could be still in hiding in this photo. His outfit seems to be a variation of the Jedi robes that he once wore in the original trilogy. The above picture would make more sense in the context that the new series takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. The fall of the Jedi and the Jedi Order has happened, leaving Obi-Wan as an outcast on Tatooine.

One of the most interesting first look images is that of Reva. The character is played by Moses Ingram. Reva is said to be a ruthless and highly ambitious Inquisitor who shares a common goal with Darth Vader. Inquisitors are the Jedi-hunting and force-sensitive people who directly work for Darth Vader and Sith with only one goal, hunt down and take out any remaining Jedi in the galaxy. While these characters have been shown in Star Wars: Rebels, they also made a big appearance in the video game Jedi: Fallen Order. In case fans didn’t already know, Vader is meant to return in a big way. Hayden Christensen returns as the Dark Lord of the Sith in the series. While exact details have not yet been revealed, there is said to be a fight between Vader and Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) on the horizon.

While we are not sure why Uncle Owen would be in the face of an Inquisitor, we are glad to see that Joel Edgerton is back. Owen was said to be one of the best smugglers, back before he was torched for hiding Luke. Too soon? Well, there is clearly some massive drama to be held between in this picture. Maybe Edgerton is hiding Ewan McGregor in some manner, much like he did for his nephew. Whatever the case may be, Uncle Owen looks tough in this picture.

Ewan McGregor returns as Obi-Wan Kenobi on May 25th on Disney+, and hopefully, the series decides to come out with a bang. We all want to see Kenobi vs Vader right away. All the Star Wars-related shows on the streaming platform have been fantastic thus far. The Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, and now this one is set to turn the streaming platform into the best stop for all Star Wars mythos.
