Stranger Things Star Allegedly Kicked Out Of Club For Being Wasted
As Netflix’s hit Stranger Things finally prepares to wrap up with its fifth and final season next year, fans continue to receive reminders that the show’s young stars have grown up quite a bit since its debut in 2016. The latest example of this comes courtesy of Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers on the show. Schnapp was reportedly recently thrown out of a New York nightclub this week after becoming overly intoxicated and aggressive.
Noah Schnapp At The Club
Though no longer the child he was when Stranger Things started, Noah Schnapp is still only 19 years old, so legally, he should not have been drinking at all.
However, Schnapp allegedly spent his evening at The Palace nightclub in New York approaching people with their drinks and trying to convince them to do shots with him and his friends.
Drinking Underage?
Many others at the club refused to allow Noah Schnapp to drink with them because they recognized that he was underage.
However, evidently, someone that night felt comfortable offering Schnapp alcohol, as he was said to be quite drunk. It is said that when others at the club did not allow him to have some of their drinks, Schnapp became aggressive enough that security forced the actor to leave.
Getting Kicked Out
Noah Schnapp’s night at The Palace ended at 1:30 in the morning, but eyewitnesses said that was still not the end of the young man’s night.
Others who claim to have been there for the incident allege that they saw Schnapp get kicked out and that he remained outside of the venue for a while, struggling to maintain his balance.
There is no word on how much alcohol Schnapp may have had that night, if any, but others at the club said he did not depart from the area until 2am.
No Comment From Noah Schnapp
For his part, Noah Schnapp has yet to comment on the situation in any form. It is unclear whether he has any regrets about the night or if he would just chalk it up to a fun night with friends.
It is possible he may have decided the best course of action in such situations is to lay low following some past controversies that gained him some negative public attention online.
Noah Schnapp And Doja Cat
In 2022, Noah Schnapp aroused the anger of musician Doja Cat when he publicly posted private messages between them wherein Doja Cat had been asking him for the social media handles of his Stranger Things co-star Joseph Quinn.
Doja Cat made it clear that she found Quinn attractive and was interested in him. Schnapp evidently found the exchange amusing and decided to share it on social media before quickly deleting it.
Regardless, Doja Cat was not happy with her private correspondence being made public.
“Maybe he is, like a whole snake. But I didn’t see him that way,” Doja Cat said in response to that situation with Noah Schnapp. “I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it and he went and shared information that I didn’t feel comfortable with him sharing.”
Making Headlines
If the details about Noah Schnapp’s latest night at The Palace are all true, it would seem the young star is still navigating the challenges of maintaining a positive reputation amidst all the attention of his fame.
Perhaps he could learn a thing or two from co-star Millie Bobby Brown whose only recent headlines include news of her recent marriage.
