In this future, Shibuya is attacked by monstrous entities called Revisions, which are controlled by a sinister organization. Daisuke and his friends are enlisted by Milo, a member of a covert operation called AHRV, to pilot giant robotic suits called String Puppets to defend their city and prevent the future catastrophe that led to their current predicament.

While Revisions features several epic battles, at its core the story revolves around Daisuke’s obsession with fulfilling a prophecy told to him in childhood by Milo, which said he would save his friends and the world.
