Penn Badgley’s character Joe Goldberg isn’t the only person who is obsessed. Fans all over the world are devouring Netflix’s You, the drama series which follows a serial killer who becomes infatuated with a woman and will stop at nothing to be with her. According to Deadline, You’s fourth season took the top spot on Netflix’s English-language TV shows list for the week of February 13-19 – and it’s not the first time.

The first five episodes of Netflix’s compellingly dark, creepy You series debuted on February 9th and gained 64.1 million hours viewed. This took the season to the Top 10 in, not just America, but an incredible 88 different countries all at the same time. This is not much of a surprise, however, as the series has always ranked high in the past.

Speaking of high rankings, Netflix’s release of this season of You has also spawned interest in the previous three seasons, bringing them all into the Top 10 most-watched shows list. The fourth season was number one, but with 22.4 million hours viewed, season one was number three on the list. Season two was number 10 with 15.1 million hours watched, and season three was number nine with 15.6 million hours.

When it comes to Netflix series, You isn’t alone in the Top 10. Season one of Perfect Match took second place with 24.7 million hours watched, which is actually even more impressive, considering that there were only four episodes of this new series to watch at the time. Season two of fan-favorite Ginny & Georgia lost a bit of traction and fell to seventh place with “just” 18.5 million watch hours last week. Filling out the rest of the spots on the list were Full Swing, Love is Blind, and Red Rose.

Netflix’s You has changed a lot as it enters its fourth season, taking viewers to a new location with new characters. Joe is still looking for love, though, as he moves to London, where he keeps up his killing spree. This time, though, it is Joe who is being stalked.

Rotten Tomatoes writes that critics have mixed feelings about this change of venue for Netflix’s most-watched psychological thriller. Some of them lament the fact that season four of You seems like an entirely different show that is completely unrelated to the three seasons that came before it. Others, though, like Joe’s “shift from predator to prey” and enjoy the fact that they can still rely on him to bring his sardonic personality and humor to every episode.

Following a trend that seems to have formed on Netflix recently, You’s fourth season will be released in two parts. The first five episodes will certainly be racking up views for a few more weeks, then the last five episodes of the season will be released on March 9th. No announcement for a fifth season has been made yet, but it wouldn’t be surprising if we see Joe return for another round after this high-ranking season ends in March.
