The final trailer was just released by Sony Pictures Entertainment and the film is set to release in theaters in the USA starting April 1. If we all thought that the vampire craze when Twilight was released was officially over, then we might need to think again. Morbius follows the story of a character who develops a form of vampirism, with Matt Smith starring as the main villain. The trailer had a very dark tone, and with a list of amazing actors that are a part of the project, it seems this upcoming film is actually going to be quite entertaining.
The premise of Morbius follows the main character, Michael Morbius, played by Jared Leto. Morbius is a biochemist who has a very rare blood disease. In an attempt to cure himself of the disease, something goes wrong, causing Morbius to develop a form of vampirism. Matt Smith plays the antagonist in the movie. The trailer gave a great glimpse of all the characters, with Matt Smith making a grand and dramatic appearance towards the end. According to Marvel, the film is directed by Daniel Espinosa.
