The Mandalorian has a pretty poster for us to gawk at while we wait for season 2.

With only a few weeks left before new episodes of The Mandalorian start hitting Disney+, the streaming service has released a new poster to get the audience pumped about the October 30 premiere.
The new poster shows Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) aboard a speeder with The Child in tow, as the sun shines behind them. It’s unclear whether the poster’s image is in fact from the new season or if it’s simply just a cool image for The Mandalorian. Only four more weeks to find out! Check out the new poster right here!
Few shows have had quite as many rumors as the second season of The Mandalorian, from whether or not Pascal will quit or if The Mandalorian will take off his helmet, if Rosario Dawson will play Ahsoka Tano, and probably the biggest question: will Boba Fett appear in season two? But with episodes starting at the end of the month and running until the end of December, who knows when we will have answers to all these questions.
What we do know is that like season one, season two of The Mandalorian will feature eight episodes, with one released every Friday starting October 30. Jon Favreau will write six of the episodes, while Dave Filoni and Rick Famuyiwa will each write one. This season will also have an impressive lineup of directors, including the return of Favreau, Famuyiwa, and Bryce Dallas Howard. New to the series are directors Dave Filoni, Peyton Reed (Ant-Man and the Wasp) Robert Rodriguez (Desperado), and Carl Weathers, who also co-starred in the first season and will be returning as Greef Karga in the second season.
Season two of The Mandalorian will also introduce many new characters for Djardin and The Child to interact with. As previously mentioned, it is rumored that Dawson will be assuming the role of Ahsoka Tano from the Clone Wars animated series. The Terminator’s Michael Biehn has signed on to play a bounty hunter and professional wrestler Sasha Banks is reportedly playing an undisclosed role. In addition to Ahsoka Tano, another character from The Clone Wars is rumored to make their live-action debut, with Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff reprising her role as Bo-Katan Kryze.
But again, arguably the biggest mystery of The Mandalorian season two is whether or not Boba Fett will make an appearance. With the casting of Temuera Morrison, who played Boba’s father Jango Fett in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, the theory has been that Boba might have made it out of the Sarlacc pit alive.
However, in a show full of bounty hunters, it’s quite possible that Morrison is signed on to play another similar character. Adding more fuel to the Boba fire is the casting of Timothy Olyphant as Cobb Vanth, a former slave who seems to have found Boba Fett’s Mandalorian armor. Olyphant’s character is originally from Chuck Wendig’s Star Wars: Aftermath novel trilogy.
Yet based on this poster, all we know is that The Mandalorian season two will bring back the eponymous Mandalorian, The Child hanging out and ready for adventure, and a cool speeder bike flying over water. And when you’ve got that, who needs Boba Fett and Clone Wars characters anyways?
