Critics All Say The Same Thing About Mads Mikkelsen Replacing Johnny Depp In Fantastic Beasts
Mads Mikkelsen has officially replaced Johnny Depp in the newest Fantastic Beasts film, and critics are all saying the same thing about it.

The newest installment of the Fantastic Beasts films is here, and early reviews have begun to pour in. This is the first of the series that has also seen Johnny Depp removed as the villainous Grindelwald. Depp was removed due to the ongoing issues in court that he has seen with now ex-wife Amber Heard. While losing Depp was certainly a huge loss, Warner Bros. expertly replaced the man with another fantastic actor. The perennial Mads Mikkelsen would now be taking on the role of Grindelwald. While there have been some positive mentions of the new film, they rest on the performances of Jude Law and Mikkelsen. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore might have done a fantastic job of replacing Depp with Mikkelsen.
It’s safe to say that adding Jude Law and Mads Mikkelsen to a movie is going to go over well with audiences. The men are fantastic actors all around. Unfortunately seems that the new film is lacking otherwise to the above review. While we hope Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore lives up to its hype, at least we get to be happy with Mikkelsen.
More praise for Mads Mikkelsen, but this review speaks on the obvious nature in which the newest Fantastic Beasts takes its plot. Maybe there needs to be more going on within these films. Quite honestly, they have been hard to get into. Maybe the big baddie that everyone must take down needs a refresher. Keep Mikkelsen involved though.
Three out of five stars are not that bad of a review. Comparing Mads Mikkelsen to that of Ralph Fiennes Voldemort is even better. Hopefully, this brings in a new world where Mads can effectively torment the Wizarding World.
Another solid review of the film. Mads Mikkelsen has been impressing everyone who has been lucky enough to see the film during its review period. Again, hopefully, this means that Mads is going to be cemented into the world of Harry Potter much deeper.
There seems to be a growing consensus that Mads Mikkelsen belongs in this franchise. While there is a ton of drama surrounding Johnny Depp exiting the films, it seems that the early reviews are overwhelmingly in support of Mikkelsen taking over from this point on. While we have not seen the film yet, it stands to reason that everyone is enjoying his performance.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is receiving early reviews as of right now, but fans will not have to wait much longer for the film to come out. The newest film in the long-standing Wizarding World officially premieres on April 6th. While there are certainly the midnight showings tonight to think about, the movie will be available domestically starting tomorrow. Those who have issues with Johnny Depp being replaced might be in store for quite a surprise as critics are all saying the same thing about Mads Mikkelsen. He is a fantastic actor and was nominated for Best Actor in the film, Another Round. While the plot will surely explain how his looks are different, we are excited to see the man in this role. Seems as if everyone else is as well.
