Liam Hemsworth First Witcher Footage Replacing Henry Cavill Appears, See Season 4 Of Netflix Series
Netflix just dropped our first official look at Liam Hemsworth’s Geralt in the upcoming season of The Witcher. The brief clip shows Geralt walking with his trusty steed, Roach, through a foggy and atmospheric setting. The clip ends with Geralt hearing something, presumably monstrous, approaching from behind.
As far as clips go, this doesn’t give us much to go off, but Liam Hemsworth certainly looks the part in The Witcher Season 4. Unfortunately, this clip doesn’t give us a preview of what Hemsworth will sound like in the series. Doug Cockle, the voice actor for Geralt in the video game adaptations of Andrzej Sapkowski’s books, gave Geralt a very distinct and gruff voice form which Henry Cavill took inspiration when he played the role.
Liam Hemsworth will play Geralt in both Season 4 and Season 5 of The Witcher, which are set to be the final two seasons of the Netflix series.
Presumably, Liam Hemsworth will continue this character trait in The Witcher Season 4, as it has become a defining aspect of Geralt. Fans were shocked and dismayed when Cavill announced that he wouldn’t be reprising the role after Season 3, and Hemsworth had the unenviable position of taking the role next. Fans have been skeptical, but this latest clip does look promising.Even though fans were surprised about Liam Hemsworth replacing Henry Cavill in The Witcher, it’s no secret that the show hasn’t been well-received overall throughout its run.

Liam Hemsworth will play Geralt in both Season 4 and Season 5 of The Witcher, which are set to be the final two seasons of the Netflix series. So, whether the fourth season is well-received or not, the series is set to be completed regardless. Of course, there’s potential for spin-offs, but this will at least be the last we’ll see of Geralt for now.
Liam Hemsworth’s The Witcher Season 4 will pick up after the events of season three, where Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri must travel across the Continent to find each other again. From the behind-the-scenes images and this clip, it seems like there will at least be plenty of action in the fourth season. But, it remains to be seen if the fourth season can win over fans on the storytelling sign of things.
Along with Liam Hemsworth, The Witcher Season 4 will see Laurence Fishburne join the cast as Regis, a major character in the books and video games.
Even though fans were surprised about Liam Hemsworth replacing Henry Cavill in The Witcher, it’s no secret that the show hasn’t been well-received overall throughout its run. Fans loved Cavill in the role, but the show itself was lacking and was often criticized for not being as faithful to the books and video games as fans would have preferred. In fact, it was heavily rumored that the reason Cavill left was because of his fandom for books and video games and the fact that the show’s writers weren’t fans of them.
Along with Liam Hemsworth, The Witcher Season 4 will see Laurence Fishburne join the cast as Regis, a major character in the books and video games. Regis first appeared in the Baptism of Fire novel. Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, and Joey Batey will also return to reprise their roles from previous seasons.
For now, there’s no word on when we’ll get to see Liam Hemsworth in The Witcher Season 4, as there isn’t a release date yet. Now that we have this first-look clip, Netflix will presumably release a trailer and a release date soon. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you updated.
