As we bid adieu to Marvel’s Phase 4 and have our eyes set on the horizon of Phase 5 and even into Phase 6, many questions are being left up in the air. For example, we know the first project coming out of the Kevin Feige-headed universe will be Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania which is set to land in theaters on February 17, 2023. We’re also gearing up for more shows, including Season 2 of Loki. And then, there are films like Fantastic Four that we don’t know much about including who will be taking on the roles of the fearsome foursome. Could it be possible, perhaps, that business mogul and reality superstar Kim Kardashian could be stepping into the role of one of these upcoming Phase 5 or 6 characters?
During a sit-down with Interview Magazine, the entrepreneur and mother of four revealed that she would be willing to zap into the Marvel Cinematic Universe should the right role reveal itself. When asked if she would consider acting, Kim Kardashian stated that she would be more than interested “if something fun came about. Maybe a Marvel movie, that would be so fun to do.” Whether you’re a lover or hater of the Kardashian clan, don’t get your knickers in a twist just yet as the Skims creator said that it wasn’t something that she was “actively looking” for, but believed that if the right part came about and it was the correct timing, she’d be in.
While she hasn’t appeared in any Hollywood feature-length productions, the businesswoman, who poked fun at herself and her background when she hosted Saturday Night Live last fall, would make for a great cameo in a world as big as Marvel. From Matt Damon appearing in both Thor: Ragnarok and Thor: Love and Thunder to Elon Musk portraying himself in Iron Man 2, there’s plenty of room for celebs to show their faces in the superhero world. We could easily see Kim Kardashian donning a cape and making a joke at her own expense in any of the upcoming films.
After a short time off the air, fans of E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians were brought back into the busied lives of Kourtney, Khloé, and, of course, Kim Kardashian, along with their mother, Kris Jenner, and their step-siblings, Kylie and Kendall Jenner. The reality series was rebooted on Hulu, where it was also rebranded as simply, The Kardashians. The first season of the new production shared many highs and lows of the family including Kourtney’s romance and engagement with Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker, and Kim’s budding courtship with SNL’s Pete Davidson.
Cranking out a new season at lightning speed, Season 2 is already set to drop on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ in the U.K. on September 22, 2022. The follow-up will see Kourtney and Travis tie the knot (possibly all three times), Khloé’s rocky relationship with Tristan Thompson, and of course plenty of drama surrounding Kim and Pete’s relationship. The stuff of tabloid dreams, the new couple’s happily-ever-after was quickly stifled by Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband, Kanye West, who had more than a few choice words for the young comedian. Since then, Kim and Pete have called it quits due to scheduling difficulties, but we don’t expect to see that unfold until Season 3.
Being one of the busiest women in the industry, it’s hard to say when we could expect Kim Kardashian to appear in an MCU film. But one thing’s for sure, if Kevin Feige gives her a ring, she (or Kris) will be jumping on any opportunities coming her way.
