There have been a lot of fun things for fans of WandaVision. There are all the puzzle pieces that fit into the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe. There’s the sitcom element. Audiences have applauded Elizabeth Olsen’s performance. And, of course, there is Kathryn Hahn giving us one of the best wink memes the internet has ever seen. While we know that we’ll be seeing Wanda appear in future Marvel movies, what’s the future for Agatha Harkness in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Today, sources at We Got This Covered not only say Kathryn Hahn will be seen again, but they have news on what her role will entail moving forward.

We know that Scarlet Witch/Wanda will have a major role in Phase 4 for Marvel. She’s going to be appearing in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Based on material in the comics and everything we’ve seen so far, Scarlet Witch is going to cause a great deal of chaos. We now hear that when all of this happens, Kathryn Hahn’s character will be showing up to redeem herself. During this redemption arc, she will act as a mentor for Wanda. Her character will help Wanda get her magic under control. While sources didn’t say when this would happen, it’s assumed that it would make sense for Kathryn Hahn to appear and help Wanda after she wreaks havoc in Doctor Strange

Previously, there has been rumors of a solo movie for Scarlet Witch. Since Elizabeth Olsen’s character has become popular and is a major player in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this would make sense. If they make that movie after Doctor Strange, it could be a great place to have Kathryn Hahn return. Of course, that is just speculation at this point.

We do know that Kathryn Hahn would be happy to return to the character of Agatha Harkness in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She told The New York Times that Marvel keeps everything tightly under wraps. She has no idea whether they’ll ever have her character return. This is what we hear from a lot of people who work with Marvel. Often, outlets have news from insiders long before the talent hears anything. When they do ask Kathryn Hahn to reprise the role, it sounds like she’ll be saying yes. When asked about returning, she said, “I want to. Now that I have a taste of it, I’m like, ahh. I really, really love it.”

WandaVision has been popular with Disney+ audiences, even if the finale hit a low in the ratings. As soon as the season one finale aired, fans were waiting for an announcement on season two. Some speculate that isn’t going to happen. With the story continuing on in the Marvel movies, many feel that a second season would complicate things too much for the universe. If so, then our only chance to see Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness will be pulling her into the movies in the future. At this point, it’s anyone’s guess. Kevin Feige, the president at Marvel, isn’t ruling a second season out, so we shouldn’t either.
