“Hey everyone! I just wanted to thank you all so much for the good wishes and all the love that I have received this past week,” Micucci began. She continued by saying how much it meant to her to see that support and that it came at a time when she needed it the most.

According to her TikTok videos, Kate Micucci was extremely lucky in detecting her lung cancer early.
The actress claims to have never smoked a cigarette in her life, which meant that the cancer was a surprise.
“But also I guess, also, it happens,” she said in her video, “and so the greatest news is they caught it early, they got it out, I’m all good.”
Kate Micucci is one of 238,340 people diagnosed with lung cancer every year in the United States. Each year more than half of those diagnosed end up dying from the cancer, according to the American Cancer Society.
