Jonathan Majors looks awesome as Kang the Conqueror.

With Jonathan Majors now properly introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans are already jumping on the opportunity to get an idea of how he will look at his character, Kang the Conqueror.
For one, BossLogic, a fan artist who has done official collaborations with big studios like Marvel and DC, gave his spin on the character. It is a darker take that he posted last year on social media. This rendition gives Jonathan Majors a light blue face as well as light blue eyes. The purple on his helmet and parts of his costume is darker, with a less pink tinge. The whole design is slightly different as the helmet and outfit are less bulkier than the most recent direction.
Meanwhile, Instagram fan artist spdrmnkyxxiii decided to give his own take on the supervillain. It hits the classic look of Kang the Conqueror with Jonathan Majors’ face perfectly blue and fitting for the supervillain. In addition, it shows off his purple armor with his menacingly glowing eyes. To add to the cosmic being, the artist made an aesthetically matching galaxy background.
Other fans are making their versions of Kang the Conqueror. Reposted on Reddit by user changma50 and created by datrintiart, we see a side profile of Jonathan Majors as the character. The costume is reminiscent of Boss Logic’s 2020 design, but with a few differences. The cloak is not there; instead, the green fabric looks sewn to the outfit. The purple armor looks like a cross between both versions of Boss Logic’s work while still having its own identity. His skin is less saturated, but his eyes are back to glowing with a whiter hue to the yellow.
Last year was a big year for Jonathan Majors. Starring in Spike Lee’s latest movie, Da 5 Bloods, and in the HBO series Lovecraft Country, his career skyrocketed. What helped more was the confirmation from Deadline, which we initially reported with our own scoop, regarding his entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Kang the Conqueror. Except, we did not know it would be Loki. Instead, we only knew his role as the villain was meant for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the third standalone installment for the master of ants.
Comic book readers most likely know who Kang the Conqueror is, but others will start to get to know him between Loki and the third Ant-Man as Jonathan Majors brings him to life. His goal is to rule all of existence, so it makes sense he would pop up in Loki, a show all about multiverses. He did not originate with the Disney Plus series; he has been around since 1964’s The Avengers #8.
Most Marvel villains only get their moment in the spotlight for a single movie or show, but appearing in a single outing and then transitioning to much larger stories is not unique to see in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it is different from most. Thanos and Loki have had this opportunity, and it looks like Kang is moving in this direction. While we get to see Jonathan Majors at least twice, we will also get to see other returning baddies like Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha.
Loki is available on Disney Plus, where you can see Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror before he turns blue with his iconic costume.
