When it comes to the power of turning heads, Jessica Alba is forever locked and loaded. From an eye-catching red carpet look to shocking followers with a chilling Halloween costume, the Dark Angel actress is always prepared to show up in a jaw-dropping ensemble. Proving that she’s still got it (as if anyone was even questioning it), Alba recently shared her latest revealing outfit on Instagram, in a post that you can see below, in which she wore an open blazer with nothing but a black bra underneath.
Celebrating the wonder of Fashion Week, Jessica Alba took her fans along for the ride in a set of two images that show off her runway-worthy fit. The first still features a closeup of Alba as she presumably prepares herself before the Palm Angels runway event. The actress is rocking a tightly pulled ponytail and, from the waist up, we can see that she has a black bra on with a dark blazer perfectly tailored to her body.
The second clip is a short video that features Jessica Alba seated in a car on her way to the Fashion Week event. We get a better look at her velvet blazer, which is now giving off more of a deep burgundy color whereas, in the previous picture, the shade was completely washed out by the lighting. As the video plays out, we get a top-to-bottom view of the Sin City actress which reveals that she’s wearing a pair of velvet pants to match the blazer. As the clip plays out, Alba takes her followers to the front row with her to watch the models strut their stuff down the runway.
The caption reveals that Jessica Alba went to the Palm Angels’ event over the weekend for a little Sunday Funday. Celebrating the star in the comments are a slew of recognizable names, including Citadel actress Priyanka Chopra and fashion designer Rachel Zoe. With well over 160,000 likes, it’s clear that Alba’s latest look was a grand slam with fans and friends alike.
Receiving her major break by way of the James Cameron-created sci-fi drama Dark Angel, which also starred Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles in the second season, Jessica Alba would be a staple in the action genre during the early 2000s. Toppling major franchises like Sin City and Fantastic Four, she would also hold down roles in fan favorites, including Machete and The Veil. While her film career has tapered off in recent years, the actress took over the small screen when she starred opposite Gabrielle Union in the Bad Boys franchise comedy-crime series spinoff, L.A.’s Finest.
There are a lot of us eagerly awaiting Jessica Alba’s next project which will see her return to the world of feature-length productions in Netflix’s Trigger Warning. While not much is known about the action thriller, we know that the plot will surround Alba’s character who is taking over her grandfather’s bar but facing a moral dilemma in doing so. Directed by Mouly Surya, the film will also star Anthony Michael Hall and Mark Webber. With a new project on the horizon, we’re looking forward to whatever red carpet look Alba will be donning for premiere night.
