Andy Serkis, known best for his motion capture acting in franchises like The Lord of the Rings and Planet of the Apes, has also dabbled in directing, and helming The Shift with Jennifer Lawrence could make him a well-sought-after director in the industry. Most notably, Serkis previously directed Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021).
