See The Boys Jack Quaid And Karl Urban As Iconic Horror Killers
Jack Quaid dressed as Halloween's Jason Vorhees and Karl Urban channeled Alex from A Clockwork Orange for The Boys cast Halloween party.
Leave it to the cast of Prime Video’s The Boys to absolutely slay Halloween. In an Instagram post, which you can see above, Jack Quaid and Karl Urban are striking a pose in their respective costumes: Jason Vorhees and A Clockwork Orange’s sadistic teenager, Alex. Along with the still shot, two short videos reveal Quaid’s happiness for the spooky season as he dances around with his mask down and blade in hand.
For Jack Quaid, the costume of the Friday the 13th villain isn’t a huge jump from his portrayal of Ghostface in this year’s Scream. Likewise, it’s not a stretch for Karl Urban to be stepping into the brutal world of Clockwork as he’s got the accent down. With their powers combined, not only do Jack Quaid and Karl Urban make for a terrific on-screen duo, but they’re also totally killing it behind-the-scenes at the cast’s Halloween party.
The fourth season of The Boys is now filming in Toronto and with so many plotlines left open from the final moments of Season three, there’s a lot that could transpire. Along with Jack Quaid and Karl Urban, we can expect to see the return of fellow members of the titular team including those played by Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capone, and Erin Moriarty, as well as Supes Antony Starr, Chace Crawford, and Jessie T. Usher. Possibly returning will be the brutally killed off Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell), the gone but not dead Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligot), and Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), who was put on ice after his plans were foiled by Maeve.
What we do know is that we can expect Supernatural and The Walking Dead actor, Jeffrey Dean Morgan to make an appearance in the upcoming season in a yet-to-be-announced role as well as Susan Heyward and Valorie Curry joining as Supes, Sister Sage and Firecracker, respectively. As far as plotlines go, we know that we can expect more political divisiveness, more daddy issues, and the answer to the question of if Jack Quaid’s Hughie will be diagnosed with cancer like Karl Urban’s Butcher. In the final moments of Season three, it was revealed that Butcher’s usage of Compound V gave him an aggressive form of cancer and only a few months to live.
Outside the walls of Vought Tower, fans will be tuning in for some new stories surrounding The Boys when its spinoff series, Gen V premieres sometime in the future. The series just wrapped filming, so it’s anyone’s guess as to when episodes will begin to stream. While the story will take place during the happenings of The Boys Season 3, it’s unlikely that stars including Jack Quaid and Karl Urban will appear in the show – although it could totally be in the realm of possibility for Antony Starr’s Homelander to make an appearance or two. As of right now, no release date has been set for Season 4 of The Boys.
