Gal Gadot Will Star In A New Sci-Fi Adaptation

Gal Gadot is best known for portraying Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe, but her filmography has taken her far beyond the world of capes and tights. Now, the popular actress is set to star in a new sci-fi flick, and we are all kinds of excited about it.
Deadline brings word that Gal Gadot will star in and produce Meet Me In Another Life, an upcoming adaptation of Catriona Silvey’s just-published debut novel of the same name. The book focuses on a man and woman, named Thora and Santi, who must get to the bottom of why they keep meeting across different realities. It’s a fun, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind-esque premise, so I am definitely looking forward to that aspect of the movie. There is so much they can do visually with a concept as rich as this one, and hopefully, Gadot and her team will do the story the justice it deserves. Not much else is known about the adaptation beyond the fact that Gadot is going to lead the cast and that Charles Roven and Richard Suckle will serve as producers.
Gal Gadot may already be moving to produce the film as quickly as possible, but half of the world has not even read the book yet. And they will not be able to until the middle of the summer. The book hit shelves in the United States very recently-on April 27- but its publication overseas is set for months from now. Meet Me In Another Life doesn’t even hit bookshelves in the UK until early July, but you can bet that news of Gadot’s involvement in its film adaptation will likely lead to at least a small increase in sales.
It will be exciting to see how well Gal Gadot adapts this brand-new story for the big screen. The source material is already receiving some considerable attention, which is obviously a good sign for the upcoming film. But will the movie be able to pull in more cynical viewers? Here’s to hoping the answer is yes. With such a talented team involved, it is unlikely that it will be anything short of a fun, genre-bending time at the movies.
In addition to her starring role in the upcoming Meet Me In Another Life, Gal Gadot has also appeared in the Fast and the Furious franchise, Knight and Day, Kicking Out Shoshana, Ralph Breaks the Internet, and, of course, various installments of the DC Extended Universe. She has made a name for herself through her portrayal of Wonder Woman, but she is also capable of other kinds of roles. Her resume definitely reflects that.
Up next, Gal Gadot will star alongside Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds in Netflix’s Red Notice. She will also be starring in the belated Death on the Nile film. She has quite a bit going on, so her fans definitely have a lot to which they can look forward.
