Will Gal Gadot Return To Fast & Furious? Here’s Her Answer
Having made her debut in the Fast and Furious franchise, Gal Gadot recently answered whether she was planning on returning to the series.
While Gal Gadot might be headlining massive blockbusters nowadays like the upcoming Wonder Woman 1984 and Death on the Nile, the actress got her start in the Fast & Furious franchise. In fact, Gadot’s first film ever was 2009’s Fast & Furious, however, her character of Gisele died in 2013’s Furious 6. But with the Fast & Furious franchise ending with the eleventh installment, and no one ever really truly dead in this series, Gal Gadot has answered if she will return to the world of Fast & Furious.
In an interview with MTV News for Wonder Woman 1984, Gal Gadot was asked if she might return for one of the last films in the Fast & Furious series. The question seemed to take Gadot by surprise when she answered, “Oh wow, I don’t know. I have no idea. Right now it’s not on my to-do list.” Fans might want to see the return of Gisele, but at this point, it certainly doesn’t sound like Gadot has heard anything about her possibly returning.
Even though Gisele died in Furious 6, that doesn’t really matter in the series that might soon see the crew going to space. Despite Gisele’s boyfriend Han Lue – played by Sung Kang – previously died in this franchise, the trailers for F9 have shown that Han is back and seemingly fine. If Han can survive being blown up, there’s no reason why Gal Gadot couldn’t also return for Fast and Furious 10 or Fast and Furious 11.
It also looks as though Gal Gadot has a lot of work coming up. The actress has already finished filming Death on the Nile, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and Red Notice, alongside Fast and Furious star Dwayne Johnson. Gadot will also star in another new franchise, entitled Heart of Stone. Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins also doesn’t seem to be in a hurry when it comes to Wonder Woman 3, as she has begun working on the next Star Wars film, Rogue Squadron, Since it looks as though Gadot might be able to put up her golden lasso for a few years, maybe she could go back to the franchise that made her a star.
As Gal Gadot has moved on to her own franchises, theFast & Furious series is continuing to grow its ridiculous cast with the upcoming ninth installment. Jordana Brewster, who hasn’t been in the series since Fast & Furious 6 will be returning in F9, as will Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron. There’s also plenty of new additions, with Michael Rooker, MMA fighter Francis Ngannou, Ozuna, Cardi B, and John Cena all joining the crew for F9.
But with the Fast & Furious series supposedly coming to a conclusion with the eleventh installment, it sounds as though this franchise is going to get even crazier than it has been in the past. Why not go out with a bang? What better way to wrap up this insane series than to bring back Gal Gadot and reunite her with Han? Fans have been begging for Han to receive the justice he serves, and why not do that by putting Gisele and Han back together once more.
