To everyone else in the world, Dwayne Johnson seems too busy to take on any more projects. Films like Hobbs & Shaw and his latest hit Red Notice are waiting for the sequel treatment. And yet, he isn’t slowing down. Netflix invested heavily in Red Notice, and with the success of the thriller still fresh, it seems he’s got his eyes set on expanding his partnership with the streaming service. Thanks to some work from a trusted and proven inside source for Giant Freakin Robot, we’ve learned that Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot are in talks with Netflix for a new action movie.
Our source shared that this is an original project. It is entirely separate from Red Notice and the anticipated sequels. Because Red Notice was such a big hit, they’re looking at creating a new action movie also starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds.
