Evil Season 4 Announces Series End With A Bang, See The Goodbye
Paramount+ just confirmed that Evil, an American supernatural drama television series, is coming to an end in a Season 4 trailer, which just dropped. Evil Season 4 will premiere in May, with four additional episodes that will conclude the series narrative and address many of the cliffhangers from previous seasons. Judging by the trailer, the tone of the upcoming season seems quite apocalyptic, at least judging by the mentions of Hell and the world coming to an end in the Season 4 trailer.
Evil Season 4 will have an additional four episodes to help provide a better sense of narrative resolution…
Paramount+ has officially announced that Evil Season 4 will be the final season of the hit horror series, which has plenty of things to untangle and resolve before it finally concludes. The upcoming season will deal with the aftermath of Kristen learning that her missing egg was stolen from the fertility clinic and used to bring about the antichrist. This revelation will put her on a direct collision course with the villainous Dr Leland Townsend, who is collaborating with Kristen’s mother, Sheryl—you can see Kristen’s shocked expression in the trailer.
For those who still haven’t seen Evil, the supernatural drama series originally aired on CBS before moving to Paramount+ for subsequent seasons.
It would seem that Sheryl helped Leland kidnap Kristen’s husband, Andy, and paralyze him, which only raises the question of whether Sheryl is trying to protect her daughter and granddaughter in some other odd way. The upcoming Evil Season 4 also has to answer some other questions, like the previously mentioned end of the world, the often-teased romance between Kristen and David, Ben’s ability to find some solace in her personal life, and Dr. Kurt’s career advancement fueled by his pact with dark forces.
Evil received a fantastic critical response, with a 92 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes for Season 1.
Fortunately, as stated at the beginning, Evil Season 4 will have an additional four episodes to help provide a better sense of narrative resolution. This cancelation is sad news for the fans of the series, but there’s some silver lining here. The streamer decided not to drag out the series past any sense of originality and quality, which often happens when a show airs for too long, so it is good to go out on a high note.
For those who still haven’t seen Evil, the supernatural drama series originally aired on CBS before moving to Paramount+ for subsequent seasons. It follows the story of Dr. Kristen Bouchard, Catholic seminarian David Acosta, and a skeptical technology contractor, Ben Shakir, all of whom are hired by the Catholic Church to investigate purported supernatural events. As things usually happen in dramas, even supernatural ones, their personal lives get increasingly intertwined with various events and individuals behind some of the incidents of the show.
Evil received a fantastic critical response, with a 92 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes for Season 1. Subsequent seasons only went up in ratings, and Season 3 of Evil has a 100 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Evil Season 4 now has some pretty big boots to fill, and judging by everything we’ve seen in the past and the clues provided by the recently dropped teaser trailer, Season 4 poses to take us on a hellishly good ride.
