See Dove Cameron Take A Selfie In Nothing But A Lacy Bra
Dove Cameron celebrated her recent birthday with a photo dump on social media.
Dove Cameron recently celebrated her birthday, so naturally, she took to Instagram to celebrate. Her post included some memes, some candid moments, and of course, some selfies. All in all, it seems like Cameron had a pretty fun celebration.
Although Dove Cameron is only turning 27, she has achieved a lot of recognition in her acting and music career. Her music career was particularly successful in 2022, as she released two hit singles and was named Best New Artist at both the MTV Video Music Awards and the American Music Awards. 2023 is set to be an even bigger year, as she’s planning on releasing her debut album titled Celestial Body.
As for her acting career, Dove Cameron has been cast in the upcoming film Field Notes on Love. Field Notes on Love follows a guy who finds a girl willing to go on a romantic train ride with him after his girlfriend dumps him and leaves him with two nontransferable tickets. The film is being co-adapted by Lauren Graham and Jennifer E. Smith and is based on the book by Smith.
Along with Dove Cameron, Field Notes on Love is also set to star Jordan Fisher. There’s no word on when we can expect to see Field Notes on Love, but it’s listed as being in the pre-production stages of filming. The film is being brought to us by Warner Bros and HBO Max.
One Dove Cameron project that we shouldn’t expect to see anytime soon is The Powerpuff Girls live-action series that is being made for the CW. The project has had a tumultuous journey to being produced, although it hasn’t been outright canceled yet. However, the script is being completely reworked after the original script was leaked and met with negative backlash.
CW’s Powerpuff will star Dove Cameron as Bubbles, Yana Perrault as Buttercup, Donald Faison as Professor Utonium, Nicholas Podany as the son of Mojo Jojo, Robyn Lively as Sarah Bellum, and Tom Kenny as the Narrator. While Chloe Bennet was originally set to play the role of Blossom, she had to drop from the project in August 2021 due to scheduling conflicts. Her replacement has not been announced by the CW yet.
When a project is in development hell as long as Powerpuff has been, it’s not usually a great sign. Fortunately, Dove Cameron has other projects on the way. Cameron will likely be busy promoting and working on her aforementioned debut album along with filming Field Notes on Love.
Unfortunately for fans of Disney’s Descendants, we won’t be seeing Dove Cameron return to the next installment of the popular film franchise. Cameron’s role in Descendants, Descendants 2, and Descendants 3 is definitely one of her most popular characters as Mal, daughter of Maleficent, so she’ll certainly be missed in Descendants: The Pocketwatch. Instead, the film will feature a new cast of characters played by Kyle Cantrall, Malia Baker, China Anne McClain, Rita Ora, Dara Renee, Joshua Colley, Melanie Paxson, and Brandy.
