Digimon Anime Movie Is Coming To Theaters In North America
Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning is making its way to U.S. theaters, thanks to Toei Animation and Fathom Events. According to Crunchy Roll, the hotly anticipated two-night event is scheduled for November 8, 2023, and November 9 at 7 p.m. local time, with 750 theaters across the country set to screen the movie. Fans can catch it in English dub on November 8 and in Japanese with English subtitles on November 9.
On November 8 and 9, Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning will be airing in U.S. theaters.
As an exclusive bonus for those attending the screenings, the film will feature a special introduction by its director, Tomohisa Taguchi, known for his work on The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes. This behind-the-scenes insight will provide viewers with a unique perspective on the film’s creation and the director’s vision for this exciting continuation of the Digimon saga.
Additionally, the first 50 attendees at each screening on both nights will receive a Digimon Card Game Tamer Party Pack -THE BEGINNING- ver. 2.0. This party pack includes three out of 14 possible cards from the new Digimon Card Game deck inspired by the film. However, their tranquility is shattered when an enormous Digitama materializes in the sky above Tokyo Tower, plunging them back into chaos. The arrival of Lui Ohwada, an enigmatic young man who asserts himself as the world’s inaugural DigiDestined, heralds a fresh chapter in their journey, replete with exhilarating trials and unforeseen revelations.
