Suicide Squad Isekai, produced by Wit Studio and presented by Warner Bros. Japan, has generated significant buzz, particularly among fans of the DC Universe and anime enthusiasts, who are excited to see the unique fusion of superhero action and isekai adventure. The Suicide Squad originated in the 1959 comic book series The Brave and the Bold.

Initially, the team was a secret government agency handling unusual cases after the Justice Society of America was disbanded. The core members included Rick Flag, Jr., Karin Grace, Hugh Evans, and Jess Bright. The concept faded from the comics until its revival in the 1987 Legends miniseries, which introduced a new version of the team led by Amanda Waller.
