Chris Hemsworth is back as Thor, the God of Thunder. Production is currently underway on Thor: Love and Thunder, and we are starting to get our first glimpses of what exactly is going on behind the scenes. We know of at least one major character that will be showing up in the sequel, not to mention on-set photos of Chris Pratt returning as Star-Lord. It looks like we will be seeing a lot of familiar faces coming back for the fourth entry in the Thor series. And one that fans will be stoked to see once again isn’t even a face.

You can check out this TikTok video from the set of Thor: Love and Thunder that shows Chris Hemsworth’s stunt double in some wire rigging for a stunt shot. And what’s that he is wielding in his hand? Why it’s Thor’s trusty hammer, Mjolnir. Watch the awesome video right here with some very appropriate background music to make it even more awesome.

We can see Chris Hemsworth’s stunt double in the video making a running start with Mjolnir at his side.

As he leaps into the air, Chris Hemsworth’s stunt double looks to be targeting a stand-in bunch of boxes in the shot. This will act as a stand-in for either some other object or possibly a foe of Thor’s.

But, the most thrilling part of this new video of Chris Hemsworth’s stunt double is probably how it ends. After dispatching with the aerial target, Thor himself lands with all the poise of a true superhero. And thanks to AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” playing over the soundtrack, it leads to a truly badass bit of teasing for the next installment in the Thor series.

There is no doubt that Thor: Love and Thunder will provide us with the kind of action and excitement that we have come to expect from Chris Hemsworth’s outings as the God of Thunder. As far as Mjolnir goes, we know that Thor was able to reclaim it by traveling back into the past and summoning it during the events of Avengers: Endgame. Now that he has his signature weapon back, there is a very good chance he is stronger than he has ever been.

It is going to be interesting to see just how wild Chris Hemsworth is going to get in Thor: Love and Thunder as far as the action stunts are concerned. We know that Natalie Portman’s character, Jane Foster, will be channeling the power of the God of Thunder and will become a female version of Thor during the events of the movie. How long until we get to see her (or her stunt double) wielding the mighty Mjolnir? Could they be saving that first look for the very first trailer? Or will they showcase that in some other promotional material before that?

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to hits theaters on February 11, 2022. With less than a year before its release, you can expect to be seeing a lot more of the movie makes its way onto the internet.
