Captain America: Brave New World Drops Huge Reveal Fans Have Been Waiting For

In addition to the Captain America and Red Hulk figures, the LEGO set will include a fighter jet with an opening cockpit, storage compartments, and a stud shooter.

The Captain America film-inspired LEGO set (#76292) will be at a $54.99 price-point, and include 223 pieces. Past rumors have suggested that the set including Captain America and Red Hulk would have been available sometime in April 2024, which was in line with Captain America: Brave New World’s original release date of May 3 2024. Now that the film has an expected release date of February 14, 2025, fans are curious if the LEGO set will also have a delayed release, but that prospect seems unlikely.

Online communities like Reddit’s r/Legoleak are anticipating an April 1 release date for the LEGO set, and are running under the assumption that they’ll have a similar experience to the release of the Black Widow LEGO set.

In this case, the 271-piece Marvel Super Heroes set was released in 2020, but the actual film didn’t see its theatrical release until June 29, 2021 because of multiple production delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since it has happened in the past, it’s still possible that the Captain America vs. Red Hulk Battle set will still come out as scheduled.

Other community members are just a little disappointed that the LEGO set spoiled the fact that Captain America: Brave New World indirectly announced Red Hulk’s appearance in the upcoming film. One of the unfortunate realities involving LEGO tie-ins is that the toy manufacturer didn’t factor in the possibility of a delayed theatrical release after already scheduling the release of set #76292. But other users were quick to comment that the Captain America spoiler wasn’t too outrageous, as they knew that Red Hulk would show up sooner or later.Likewise, the spoil was one we could all see coming, given the knowledge that Harrison Ford would be portraying Thunderbolt Ross, who eventually turns into Red Hulk, in the upcoming film.

As for how prominently the new Captain America film will feature Red Hulk, your guess is as good as ours. At the time of this writing, reshoots are currently underway, and will carry out until mid-2024. One of the reasons reshoots were ordered was because Disney wanted to make the action sequences more satisfying, which could very well mean that some of these reshoots involve Red Hulk.

Captain America: Brave New World will be the fourth installment in the Captain America film series, as well as a continuation of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier miniseries. The upcoming MCU film will follow Deadpool 3, which is slated for a July 26, 2024 theatrical release. Now that the cat’s out of the bag that the new Captain America film will feature Red Hulk, you might as well keep your eyes peeled for the LEGO set.
