Brie Larson has not appeared in a full feature film role since the double whammy of Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame in 2019, but it seems she has been keeping busy regardless. Between her regular appearances at Marvel Studios theme parks around the world, full schedule of post-credits scene cameos, and the production of both Fast X and The Marvels, it is safe to say that Brie Larson has probably not had that much time to herself. Fortunately for her, according to her latest social media post, Brie Larson is taking some time for self-care at a Hawaiian resort, essentially the Platonic ideal of relaxation for visitors.

As one might expect from a movie star of her caliber, Brie Larson has an extremely popular social media presence, with her Instagram account currently boasting over seven million followers. This latest post of hers first shows a picture of the actress, slightly blurry and very thrilled-looking to be at the prestigious Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, one of the most exclusive (and presumably pricey) vacation destination spots in the Hawaiian islands. The second picture in the post shows what we can guess are Brie Larson’s feet as she lies on some kind of backlit table in a shadowy room.

The actual kind of self-care that Brie Larson is enjoying is slightly uncertain, though the gently lit chamber she seems to be in does have a kind of vaguely science fiction-like atmosphere. In our examinations of the various spa services offered by the Four Seasons Resort Maui, it is possible that the Marvel star would be enjoying some kind of sculpting cryotherapy or sound-shaping or maybe just chilling out in a dim room. It does appear that kind of thing that maybe only the very famous have any concept, like the special zoos that have the Fantastipotamus or maybe just some unicorns.

Brie Larson will certainly need to get the rest, as the media blitz for her upcoming projects will no doubt be intense. Fast X, the tenth entry in the Fast and Furious franchise, is not scheduled to be released until May of 2023, but the star has already begun to drop some clues about the movie on social media. Apparently, Brie Larson is a massive superfan of the Fast and Furious franchise and personally begged Vin Diesel for the shot to be either fast or furious (or possibly both) in the upcoming movie.

Her next appearance as Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, will be in The Marvels, scheduled to release in July of 2023. The film was originally developed as Captain Marvel 2, but was retitled along with the addition of Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau. While details of the plot are still hazy, we have a strong suspicion that it might dovetail with some of the events of the upcoming Secret Invasion series on Disney+, starring Brie Larson’s old co-star Samuel L. Jackson as Nicholas J. Fury. Until then, we hope Brie Larson gets some rest.
