Batman Trivia: Gal Gadot Wore The Dark Knight’s Cowl On The Set Of Justice League
So far this civil unrest has shown no sign of abating but last night there was one ray of hope: Batman showed up.
Gal Gadot’s had a smaller role when she was introduced in Batman vs. Superman but that role was greatly expanded for her appearance in Justice League. It was so big that not only did she play Wonder Woman, but apparently she also played Batman?
Well maybe she was never actually in the Batsuit on screen, but she did try it on off camera, and here’s the result…
Seeing Gal Gadot’s mouth smiling out of Batman’s cowl is actually a little terrifying. It almost seems to fit.
Batman Spotted In The Midst Of Real Life Protests And Riots, Joker Also Nearby
Peaceful protests, violent protests, rioting, looting… it’s sweeping the United States as various groups with differing intentions take to the streets to either make their voices heard or just mess things up for everyone else. So far this civil unrest has shown no sign of abating but last night there was one ray of hope: Batman showed up.
In his most recent attempt to quell America’s Civil Arrest, Batman arrived in Washington DC to assure the cops “You can go home now. I’m here to save the day.”
Here he is…
That’s right, Batman has arrived. He was first captured on video stalking through tear gas and assessing the situation. It’s safe to assume that later he showed up and did his part to keep as many people safe as possible, but here’s what we’ve seen of him so far…
You’d think he’d be focusing his efforts in New York City, which is the real life version of Gotham. However, this video captured him at work at the protests in Philadelphia, where everyone immediately felt a little bit safer with him on the scene.
Some believe that his presence may have had less to do with the protests and more to do with the fact that the Joker was spotted on the scene earlier. Here he is, fanning the flames to make things worse…
Below is another shot of Batman, stalking through crowds looking for his nemesis…
Later the Batmobile was spotted in Atlanta, so it’s safe to assume that the Batplane was busy jetting around the country last night. Here’s the Batmobile in action…
Here’s a more appropriate version of the original Batman video, with his theme music added in…
Batman Fan Art
Any Batman trilogy invariably has to have The Joker in it and by the time he shows up in the new The Batman movie, it’s likely we’ll have yet another actor to add to this incredible poster…
No one quite seems to know where this poster came from, but it’s so cool that this random user simply tweeting a photo of it has gone completely viral on the internet. I want one, you want one, now someone tell us where to get it.
Meanwhile one restauranter in London is taking his Batman fandom to the next level and opening a Batman restaurant. If The Batman does well, it should help him pay his bills.
Actually it’s not just one Batman restaurant, it’s a whole group of Batman themed restaurants and bars in one, massive, underground space. They’re calling it “Park Row” after the area of Gotham where Batman’s parents were killed. Naming it after the horrifying moment that turned Bruce Wayne into Batman is an odd choice, but that’s what they’re going with.
Inside Park Row’s 18,000 square foot basement space will be five restaurants and three bars, most of which will have a Batman theme. There will be a restaurant called Pennyworth’s, named after Alfred. Harley Quinn is getting a Japanese restaurant with some sort of crazy Harley theme. There’s a cocktail bar called Old Gotham City, which they’re describing as a speakeasy style hangout for villains.
Last but not least, there’s The Penguin‘s Iceberg Lounge, a place to eat international food, watch live entertainment, and see some kind of huge penguin ice sculpture. It’ll look something like this…
Oddly enough it doesn’t seem there’s an actual restaurant dedicated to Batman. Weird to give Bruce Wayne’s butler a place to hang out, but not create something bat-themed for him.
While reactions to Matt Reeves new take on The Batman have been all over the map, one fan got excited enough to make his own trailer. It’s such a good fan trailer, it might be easily mistake for the real deal. So if you’ve been wondering what a Batman movie will look like with Robert Pattinson as the star, here’s the answer…
