See Aubrey Plaza Posing In A Sexy Transparent Bodysuit
Aubrey Plaza looks incredible in a transparent bodysuit covered with polka dots.
It’s been years since Aubrey Plaza has taken a break from acting. The White Lotus actress, who is known for her deadpan and sarcastic comedy style, has been extremely busy over the last decade, and now many of her projects are coming out at the same time. Emily the Criminal is one of her most critically acclaimed performances, and the actress recently shared a photo on Instagram promoting the film, in which she wore a transparent full-bodied bodysuit covered in polka dots.
In the photo, Aubrey Plaza lays across a blue set, resting her head in the palm of one hand while a bright red manicured finger from the other delicately balances a coffee cup on her knee. The actress, who is usually a dark brunette, has bleach-blonde hair that is slicked back to show off a naturally made-up face. She wears a short-sleeved, turtle-necked black mesh body suit that is covered in red, blue, and mirrored polka dots, and she’s strapped a pair of sleek black high-platform heels around her ankles.
The photo was taken by photographer Jamie Hawkesworth for W Magazine, who shared it first before Aubrey Plaza reposted it to her own Instagram account.
Emily the Criminal follows the story of a college student riddled with debt who is desperate enough to resort to credit card fraud to help her out of the situation. As the titular character, Aubrey Plaza actually learned how to pull off credit card fraud while preparing for the role. While interviewing with W Magazine, Plaza informed that there are YouTube videos that explain the details of how to create fake credit cards and IDs, and, after her extensive research, the actress believes that she would make a good criminal.
Aubrey Plaza is known for making outlandish comments like this in interviews, as it’s pretty clear that the dark and sarcastic characters she is known for playing on television don’t drift far from her real personality. Plaza initially rose to fame as a break-out character in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation, in which she played April Ludgate, a direct and unemotional character that showed off Plaza’s talent for deadpan comedy.
While Aubrey Plaza is most known for her performances in comedy, her role as the titular character in the drama/thriller Emily the Criminal shows how much range the actress actually has. In addition to starring in the drama, Plaza also co-produced the film alongside Tyler Davidson and Drew Skyes. The film was written and directed by John Patton Ford.
Next to Aubrey Plaza, Emily the Criminal stars Theo Rossi as Youcef, Bernardo Badillo as Javier, and Megalyn Echikunwoke as Liz. The film has received high praise, including being stamped “Certified Fresh” by Rotten Tomatoes with a critical score of 94% and an audience score of 79%. The film won Best Feature Film and Best Actress at the Annapolis Film Festival and was nominated for the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in First-Time Feature Film Award by the Directors Guild of America.
