If you thought slapping was specifically reserved for “Slapsgiving” (thank you, How I Met Your Mother), you’d be sorely mistaken. In case you missed it, “Slap Fighting” (or slap offs as they should be called), has been a movement gaining momentum over the past few years. And now, the man who brought us one of the most iconic films in action history, The Terminator, as well as an eight-year stint as the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, will be joining YouTube celebrity, Logan Paul, to host the Slap Fighting Championships. The games will take place on Saturday, March 5, 2022, as part of the yearly Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus Ohio’s Convention Center. An annual event that draws some of the bulkiest humans on the face of the planet to the state’s capital city, this year’s fest will be happening March 3-6.
Standing at the helm of slap city, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Logan Paul will be the personalities keeping viewers up to date on every painful smack that happens during the showdown. If you’re interested in catching it online, viewers will be able to stream the event live at 2 p.m. ET on Fanmio as well as (of course) on Logan Paul’s YouTube Channel and Facebook Live page.
