Angelina Jolie Says Denzel Washington Is The Best Sex She Ever Had
Angelina Jolie says a sex scene with Denzel Washington in The Bone Collector was the best she has had.
A startling confession from Eternals actress Angelina Jolie is making the rounds online, and it is steamy! A 23-year-old quote from Angelina Jolie, in which she said that Denzel Washington was “the best sex I ever had,” has resurfaced recently. According to Mirror, Angelina made a claim while doing press for the 1999 thriller The Bone Collector.
The Bone Collector starred Angelina Jolie along with her coital crush Denzel Washington, as well as Queen Latifah and James Gunn-favorite Michael Rooker. The movie featured a sex scene between Jolie and Washington that obviously left its mark on the famous actress.
“The best sex I ever had was in this movie – It was great seducing someone with your mind, a huge turn-on,” Jolie said at the time. It’s assumed that the star is referring to the simulated lovemaking from the movie–although she never explicitly clarifies her statement. Knowing Angelina Jolie and her history as a provocateur, the vague phrasing may be intentional.
Denzel Washington, however, is a bit more demure when discussing onscreen hanky panky. Taking the phrase “a gentleman doesn’t kiss and tell” to heart, Washington has never categorized his onscreen intimacy. One of the few stories the actor has offered in regard to sex scenes is as wholesome as you can get and still be talking about fake orgasms.
Denzel Washington once revealed that he took a co-worker out for lunch before shooting a nude scene. “I thought, ‘maybe we oughtta go out and have a bite to eat or something, say hello and get to know each other a little bit, before you gotta walk around with no clothes on all day,” said Washington.
In fact, Denzel Washington tries to avoid sex scenes altogether when he can. When a sex scene is absolutely unavoidable, Denzel makes sure to apologize to his costar beforehand for what might–and might not–occur due to the body’s natural reaction to intimacy. “Don’t get upset if I get excited, and don’t get upset if I don’t,” quipped Washington.
Angelina Jolie, on the other hand, has never been shy when it comes to movie sex (or Denzel Washington, apparently). The actress has gotten down and dirty onscreen with some of her most famous costars. Antonio Banderas, Ethan Hawke, Johnny Depp, and ex-husband Brad Pitt are just a few of the actors Jolie has pretended to sleep with.
Some of those scenes of implied intercourse occurred after 2000, making it unclear if anyone has usurped Washington in the last 23 years. If Angelina Jolie has enjoyed any Hollywood copulation more than the scenes she did with Denzel Washington, the actress hasn’t said so.
Meanwhile, Jolie’s ex Brad Pitt has also disclosed his favorite sex scenes. The Fight Club actor considers the intimate scenes he did with actress Shalane McCall on the ’80s soap opera Dallas to be the best he’s ever experienced. Sadly, the scenes in question occurred when McCall was 15 and Pitt was 23 making the actor’s confession a little gross.
As Angelina Jolie continues to act, one big question looms over her ever-expanding filmography. Will anyone ever replace Denzel Washington as the greatest (fictional?) lover the actress has ever had? If they do, let’s hope they’re older than 15.
