Our Ahsoka Scoop Confirmed In Latest Star Wars Episode
Back in July, we exclusively reported that Ahsoka would bring its titular hero to the mysterious World Between Worlds, and that it was there that she would encounter Anakin Skywalker. Today’s episode of the Disney+ series seemingly proves we knew what we were talking about. Episode 4 of Ahsoka ends with the former Jedi somewhere that looks a whole lot like the World Between Worlds, where she encounters the Force Ghost of Anakin (Hayden Christensen).
We exclusively reported the surprise reveal of Ahsoka and Anakin Skywalker’s meeting at the end of the latest episode of Ahsoka.
First appearing in Star Wars: Rebels — an animated series which lays the groundwork for much of what we see in Ahsoka — the World Between Worlds is a sort of pocket dimension that connects every place and every time. The latest Disney+ episode does not confirm that this is where Ahsoka encounters Anakin, but it sure looks a whole lot like how the strange place would be interpreted in live-action.

The World Between Worlds (?) In Ahsoka
Our exclusive report didn’t end with Ahsoka and Anakin meeting in the World Between Worlds. Our sources also told us that Rosario Dawson’s hero would be confronted with alternate versions of the past. For example, she’ll see what would’ve happened if she — instead of Obi-wan Kenobi — fought Anakin on Mustafar in Revenge of the Sith, as well as a variant past in which she became a servant of Darth Vader.
While we don’t see enough of the meeting between Ahsoka and Anakin in the latest episode to confirm those scenes, it certainly seems like something along those lines is set up earlier in the episode. During her duel with Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson), the latter succeeds in taunting her by saying she “abandoned” Anakin. Clearly, Ahsoka is still haunted by her past, and a kind of It’s a Wonderful Life-esque journey with ghostly Anakin may be just what the doctor ordered.
What isn’t clear yet is exactly how Ahsoka wound up in the World Between Worlds with Anakin. Baylan throws her from a cliff, and the next time we see her, she’s saying hi to her former master. It does seem likely, however, considering the nature of the place, that it will be through the World Between Worlds that Ahsoka is able to follow the bad guys and Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) to whatever distant galaxy is the current home of Admiral Thrawn.
The next episode of Ahsoka premieres next Tuesday night at 6 PM PT/9 PM ET on Disney+.
