Adam Sandler won a performer tribute award from the 32nd annual Gotham awards this year. His acceptance speech, which is hosted on Variety, has gained attention for its… unique content. Sandler claimed that the curse-riddled speech was written by his 14- and 16-year-old daughters, and it is truly hilarious. The girls reportedly asked him to do the speech a “goofy southern accent,” and he obliged.

“Dead well-dressed dignitaries, highly educated hipsters, and various other +1s of the Gotham Awards,” Adam Sandler’s speech begins. That sentence marks the beginning and the end of the speech’s civility. It quickly veers into profanity, questioning what exactly the large rectangular award is “supposed to f***ing represent.”

In the speech, the daughters claim that Adam Sandler refused to bring them to the award ceremony, due to their desire to find Timothee Chalamet and “squeeze that fine little Jewish a** of his.”

The speech, which Adam Sandler apparently didn’t look at before reading it, mostly served as a roast of the girl’s father. It references Sandler’s “mood swings” and says that his beard fails to hide his triple chin, describing it as looking like “someone threw black-and-gray cornflakes on a f***ing bean bag.”

In the speech, the girls also claim that Adam Sandler doesn’t allow them to enjoy Ben Stiller movies. The girls claimed that after they laughed at Meet the Parents, Adam Sandler ran into the shower and screamed “Only the Sandman makes people laugh! F*** every other comedian!”

A five-year stint on Saturday Night Live kickstarted Adam Sandler’s 32-year career. He has since had roles in more than 60 films and 12 TV shows. Few of Sandler’s films have gained any critical acclaim, with an average Rotten Tomatoes score of 34%. He has also received nine Golden Raspberry awards, seven of which were for the 2012 film Jack and Jill, which gave Sandler the dubious pleasure of winning the award for Worst Actor, Worst Actress, Worst Screen Combo, Worst Screenplay, Worst Screen Ensemble, Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-off or Sequel, and Worst Picture.

Despite his works never resonating with critics, Adam Sandler’s career has been very successful financially. The comedian’s net worth was recently reported to be $450 million.

The girls graciously allowed Adam Sandler to list out some of his famous early comedies, such as Billy MadisonHappy Gilmore, and Big Daddy — all to the cheers of the audience. However, the girls claimed that Sandler referred to Big Daddy as the movie that “paid for this f***ing house,” along with houses for both of their grandmas and for Rob Schnieder. He also reportedly claimed that it paid for the girls’ braces, and for Rob Schnieder’s braces.

Adam Sandler’s daughters also gave him the opportunity to promote his more-serious movies, which have received high praise from critics. These films include the Netflix crime thriller Uncut Gems, the comedy-drama The Meyerowitz Stories, and the sports drama Hustle.

However, the girls claim that the only reason Sandler did any of this was to receive a Gotham Award. His goal, the girls claim, was to ask all the “cool, talented, bada** artists” a very poignant question: “Just how many f***ing movies did A24 produce this year?”

Adam Sandler has four more movies in the works, including Murder Mystery 2SpacemanYou Are SO Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah!, and an untitled film written and directed by Uncut Gems creators Benny and Josh Safdie.
