See Zoe Saldana Dance Like Beyonce While Dressed As Gamora For Guardians 3

It has only been a few weeks since actor Zoe Saldana last caused a fuss on Instagram, but it looks like she is up to it again. Whereas in the previous occasion she got herself into a small pot of hot water with Marvel Studios for posting of herself in makeup as her Guardians of the Galaxy character Gamora that apparently revealed some as yet unknown detail of the movie, this time she probably will not get in trouble. As Saldana so often is on social media, she was on again in the green Gamora makeup, but this time she was simply slowly dancing in various locals to Beyonce’s “Partition.” Apparently there is nary a spoiler in sight, because no Marvel Security has taken it down as of yet. Zoe Saldana’s latest Gamora video is hashtagged with #partition #gamora and #tacotuesday, and yet there is not a single taco in sight. Far be it from us to claim that this is false advertising, but it would be fascinating to see what kind of tacos that stars of Guardians of the Galaxy chow down on. For the record, we are assuming that Chris Pratt eats those hard shell ones.
Over the course of the video, we see Saldana dramatically emerging from a studio golf cart to drop it quickly, then even more dramatically turning to camera with a make up artist to do the same thing, then popping out from a trailer for one more time. The last moves of the short video show Saldana cracking up as she apparently pops something in her back. It’s good to know that even highly trained action stars can still pull a muscle if they don’t stretch before hand, and also that Saldana seems to have a pretty good sense of humor.
Many of Zoe Saldana’s recent social media posts have her at least partially made up as Gamora, which makes sense considering that James Gunn is splitting his time between various Suicide Squad spinoffs to direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. While the Daughter of Thanos is one of Saldana’s most high profile roles, she has been incredibly busy as of late and appears that she is going to just keep getting more so. It was recently announced that the actor will play the lead role in a new show from Paramount wunderkind Taylor Sheridan, titled Lioness. Just one of the many shows he relentlessly keeps creating for the Paramount+ streaming, the show will feature Saldana as a chief in the CIA’s Lioness program, leading teams of female intelligence agents around the world. She is also currently in talks to reprise her role as Uhura in the upcoming Star Trek 4, which presumably will reunite Chris Pine, Karl Urban and the whole Enterprise gang. And of course, as all celebrities are currently being required to co-star with Ryan Reynolds at least once in their career, she has a movie lined up with him too. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 is scheduled to be released on May 5, 2023.
