If you follow Euphoria actress Zendaya on Instagram, you know a weekend doesn’t go by where she isn’t blessing your timeline with the latest look at her impeccable fashion sense. The Emmy winner’s latest look is a white dress with an upside-down heart across the front, and it has to be seen to be appreciated. It’s the work of fashion designer Jonathan Anderson, the creative director of the clothing brand Loewe, and it’s part of the 2023 Spring Collection.

“ICON ICON ICON @zendaya Wearing a little preview of Loewe SS2023,” Anderson wrote on his Instagram page. Zendaya also credited her stylist, Law Roach, on the look.

Last year, The Council of Fashion Designers of America gave Zendaya their Fashion Icon Award, crediting her spokesperson work with Lancôme, Bulgari, and Valentino, whose dresses she wore to the Emmys just last week. She also has her own clothing line, Daya by Zendaya, a collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger. She seems to be handling her rise in the fashion world just as easily as her rise in Hollywood.

The 26-year-old made television history just a week ago, when she became the youngest two-time Primetime Emmy winner in an acting category and won her second Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Award for her role as Rue in Euphoria (she also won in 2020). Zendaya also became the first Black woman to win twice in the leading acting categories.

It’s been a meteoric rise for the Oakland native, who got her start in 2011 on the Disney Channel series Shake It Up, alongside Bella Thorne. At the time, she balanced her young acting career with her singing career, until Jon Watts cast her in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017, playing Michelle “MJ” Jones. She’s been focusing on acting and fashion ever since, except for occasions like her role in 2017’s The Greatest Showman, where she got to act and sing.

Zendaya also made headlines in her personal life recently, when she confirmed that her Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland (Uncharted) was indeed her boyfriend, which just about everyone had figured out based on their interactions together. Although the two met in 2017, they didn’t officially start dating until 2021.

Born Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman on September 1, 1996 to her mother Claire Stoermer and father Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, Zendaya aspired to either be a teacher (like her parents) or a basketball player (she’s 5′ 10″), until the acting bug hit. Besides her role in the Spider-Man trilogy, her other TV and film roles include The OA, Space Jam: A New Legacy (as the voice of Lola Bunny), and the Oscar-winning sci-fi epic Dune.

When she’s not killing it on the red carpet, Zendaya is busy with her current film roles. She recently finished Challengers, a drama about two friends who face off in a professional tennis tournament, and is currently filming Dune Part Two, which opens November 17, 2023, reprising her role as Chani. Another Spider-Man film is in the works, of course (although she has not confirmed her return), but she is definitely returning for the third season of Euphoria, which begins filming soon.
