According to Deadline, Home Improvement star Zachery Ty Bryan has been arrested and taken into custody for domestic violence for a second time. The arrest took place in Eugene, Oregon after allegedly stepping over the boundaries of a restraining order. Home Improvement’s Zachery Ty Bryan has been arrested for domestic violence for the second time in two years.
It’s been two years since Zachery Ty Bryan’s original charge was launched against him, with the actor pleading guilty to two felony counts of domestic abuse in Oregon in 2021. The court sentenced him to three years of probation and mandated that he begin a path toward recovery in a batterer-intervention program. 39 years old at the time of the 2021 verdict, the charges against Bryan were launched by his then 27-year-old girlfriend, whom he assaulted.
Following this attack, Zachery Ty Bryan was brought into the Lane County Jail, first being charged with harassment, coercion, strangulation, interference with making a report, and second counts of menacing and assault in the fourth degree. After agreeing to plead guilty, those added charges were dropped.
Zachery Ty Bryan also holds credits in a handful of other small-screen projects, including Smallville, Burn Notice, Veronica Mars, Center of the Universe, and the Knight Rider reboot.
Although both instances of alleged domestic violence took place in Eugene, Oregon, with the latest victim already having a restraining order against Zachery Ty Bryan, it wasn’t revealed whether the same woman was at the center of his attacks.

Upon arriving at the scene, it was stated that Zachery Ty Bryan was not on the premises but that they were able to find him and bring him into custody where, as of late Sunday afternoon, he remained.
